Yuvraj Singh will no longer be a part of ICC World Cup 2015





India will enter the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 as the Defending Champions, All fifteen Final Team members as been announced. The entire were waiting for the final squad, so there wait has finally ended.

India’s Cricket Team Captain Mahendra singh Dhoni, who was connected from Australia through a video call, also worked on various combinations and the final squad of fifteen players has been announced.  As the all team players name has been announced, with very few surprise in it that World Cup 2011 Here Yuvraj Singh is been missing, while the Ishant Sharma, missed due to SCG Test match Injury.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar as Ambassador of ICC World Cup 2015



The living legend Indian Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar has been named as the ambassador of ICC World Cup 2015. It is the second time when Sachin is going to be the ambassador second time. 

“The International Cricket Council today announced Sachin Tendulkar as the World Cup 2015 Ambassador. It will be the second successive time that the India maestro will be the Ambassador of ICC’s pinnacle tournament, after he fulfilled the role in the previous event in 2011,” the ICC said in a statement. 
As an ambassador this legend will promote and support various ICC initiatives to enhance the profile of the tournament. The ICC World Cup is one of the third greatest sporting event in the world and going to held in Australia and New Zealand. The ICC World Cup 2015 matches going to play between February 14, 2015 to March 29, 2015.

“I am delighted and honored to be appointed ICC Cricket World Cup Ambassador for the second successive time. After playing in the last six editions, the upcoming World Cup will be a different experience as I will follow it from the sidelines. It could probably be comparable to the ICC Cricket World Cup 1987 where I was a ball boy, enthusiastically cheering every ball,” Tendulkar said.

The ICC World Cup 2015 Schedule has been declared by the ICC where 49 matches will be played across 14 venues in New Zealand and Australia. The ICC World Cup is jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand. Tendulkar was the part of World Cup 2011 winning team India. Tendulkar gave his great contribution in World Cricket representing India in 200 tests, 463 one-dayers. After giving 24 years in Cricket, this 41 year old legend scored a total of 34,357 international runs and 100 centuries. He succeeded to add the missing World Cup title in 2011 in his sixth attempt. He was awarded as the player of the tournament for the contribution of 673 runs.

The ICC World Cup 2015 teams are divided into two groups (seven in each group) Pool A and Pool B. Two groups of seven sides, each will compete with each other. The venues are all set. The final will be played in Melbourne, Australia.
